We want you to feel comfortable and confident during your time with us. Dr. Makram is a gentle sedation dentist who uses oral sedation as well as nitrous oxide Nitrous Oxide (Anesthesia & Sedation), or laughing gas, to eliminate the fears of anxious patients and deliver a relaxing experience.
If you qualify for oral sedation, Dr. Makram will prescribe a sedative for you to take prior to your appointment. You'll enter a state of total relaxation, and Dr. Makram will perform your treatments, potentially reversing years of damage or neglect in a single visit. Oral sedation wears off gradually and leaves patients with pleasant memories of their visits!
In some cases, Dr. Makram recommends IV sedation, which he performs himself in our office. With IV sedation, medication is delivered through an IV and can be regulated closely.
